Numeline is a mobile application that helps you scan food products and check for food recalls. This policy explains how Olympe et odin (SIRET 91457466000025) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the app.

Information we collect
Account and identity data
- Email address and authentication identifiers (Firebase Authentication).
- Basic profile data provided by you or your sign-in provider (display name or profile photo).
Scan and product data
- Brand name, lot number, product name, and product image URL (when available).
- Scan timestamps, recall status, and related metadata.
Organization and team data (if you use team features)
- Organization name, member roles, and invitation emails.
Preferences and local data
- Language, theme, notification preferences, and onboarding state stored on your device.
- Optional first name stored locally for personalization.
Camera images and OCR
- Images captured for barcode or lot number recognition are processed on your device and deleted after processing.
- If the optional Cloud Vision fallback is enabled, images may be sent to Google Cloud Vision for text extraction.
Support communications
- Information you send when you contact us for support.
Device and security data
- Firebase and Google services may collect device identifiers, IP address, and security logs to protect accounts and prevent abuse.
Information we do not collect
- Precise location data.
- Your contacts or address book.
- Payment card details (payments are handled by the app store).
How we use information
- Provide and operate the app, including authentication and account management.
- Store scan history and check recalls against public sources.
- Send local recall alerts if you enable notifications.
- Maintain security, prevent fraud, and improve the service.
- Respond to your requests and support tickets.
Legal bases (GDPR)
We process data to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests (security and service improvement), to comply with legal obligations, and based on your consent when you enable notifications.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted providers to operate the app:
- Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore database).
- Google Sign-In (if you choose to sign in with Google).
- Google Cloud Vision (only if the OCR fallback is enabled).
- Open Food Facts (barcode lookup) and government recall data sources (FDA and USDA).
International transfers
Some service providers process data in the United States or other countries. We rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses when required.
Data retention
- Account and scan data are kept while your account is active and deleted when you request account deletion.
- Local data is stored on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the app.
- Invitation data is kept until the invitation is accepted, rejected, or expires.
Your rights

Security
We use HTTPS and standard security controls to protect data in transit and limit access to authorized personnel.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age required by your country, use the app only with parental consent.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, when required, notify you in the app.
