Terms of Service - Numeline

These Terms of Service govern your use of Numeline, a mobile application operated by Olympe et odin (SIRET 91457466000025) ("Numeline", "we", "us").

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. The service

Scan barcodes to identify products.
Use OCR to read lot numbers.
Check products against public recall data sources.
Receive recall alerts and keep a scan history.

Recall coverage is limited to food products sold in the United States. Data comes from public sources (FDA, USDA, and Open Food Facts). The service is provided for information only.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the app, or have parental consent if your local law requires it.

4. Accounts and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

5. User data and content

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter (brand, lot number, product details).
We may store your scan history to provide the service and notifications.
If you submit a new brand name, it may be shared with other users.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

If the app offers subscriptions or scan packs, payments are processed by the app store (Google Play). Prices, renewal terms, and cancellation options are shown in the store at the time of purchase. Refunds are governed by the store policy and applicable law.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use the app for unlawful purposes.
Do not attempt to bypass scan limits, security, or access controls.
Do not reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the service.

8. Disclaimers

The app provides recall information for informational purposes only and does not provide medical, nutritional, or legal advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of recall data. A product not listed as recalled is not guaranteed to be safe. Always verify with official sources.

9. Notifications

Notifications are optional and can be disabled at any time in your device settings.

10. Intellectual property

The app, including its content, branding, and design, is owned by Olympe et odin or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

11. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if required to protect the service.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Numeline is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Disputes are subject to the courts of the editor's registered office.
